What you need

TravelArrow (TripChipper) is a Chrome browser extension, so you'll need Google Chrome on a desktop or laptop. Installation is free and takes under a minute.

Step by step

  1. Go to the official Chrome Web Store listing — "TripChipper (TravelArrow) - Travel Better". Double-check the name matches; only install from this official listing.
  2. Click Add to Chrome, then confirm Add extension in the popup.
  3. The TravelArrow icon appears in your toolbar. Click it and pin it so it's always visible — you'll use it every time you shop for travel.
  4. Open the extension's settings and turn off anything you don't want. (Some users prefer disabling the cashback popups — that's in Settings, no need to uninstall.)
  5. That's it. Now just shop for travel normally: search a flight on Expedia or Google Flights, browse hotels, hit a checkout page — the extension activates on its own and offers comparisons, reveals, and codes where it finds them.

After installing: a 2-minute test drive

To see it working immediately, try this: search any flight on Expedia, click the TravelArrow icon, and watch it transfer your exact search to Kayak and Skyscanner. Then open a Priceline Express Deal and look for the hotel name reveal. Those two demos show off the core value in about two minutes.

One caution that applies to every browser extension: keep Chrome updated, and if a site ever behaves strangely, you can toggle the extension off for that site from the toolbar. And as always, only download from the official sources on our download page.
