Promo codes, automatically
You know the dance: you're at checkout on an airline or hotel site, there's a little "promo code" box staring at you, and you open a new tab to google "[site name] promo code" and paste in codes from 2019 hoping one works. TravelArrow automates that. When you're checking out on a supported travel site, the extension searches the web for active promo codes in real time and applies them — the same concept as Honey, but tuned for travel bookings.
The company's own listing gives examples of the kind of thing it hunts for: percentage discounts on multi-night hotel stays, airline promo fares, that sort of thing. It won't find a code every time — nobody can conjure discounts that don't exist — but when codes are out there, it saves you the tab-hopping.
Deal alerts and price comparison
The promo code finder is one half of the savings picture. The other half is the extension's constant price-checking: while you browse hotels or rental cars, it compares what you're seeing against 25 or more booking sites and flags it when a better price exists elsewhere. It can also surface exclusive rates available to its users and tell you outright when its own rate beats the price you found on the big travel sites.
There's also the Miles Back feature: do your regular online shopping through the extension and earn miles you can redeem for airline and hotel gift cards. It's a small rebate on purchases you were making anyway — not life-changing money, but a nice kicker if you shop online a lot.
Setting expectations
Two honest notes. First, promo code tools are only as good as the codes in circulation; during off-peak periods or on sites that rarely discount, the extension will come up empty, and that's normal. Second, the price comparisons reflect what the booking sites report at that moment — prices move fast in travel, so the final number is always whatever the booking site charges when you click through.
